GreenPro Malaysia Trustee Berhad (“GMTB”) officially celebrated its Grand Opening on 14 December 2025, marking the beginning of a long-term commitment to trust, legacy, and wealth succession planning in Malaysia. The event brought together partners, professionals, and members of the community in a meaningful gathering, complemented by food, conversations, and shared purpose. In his opening address, Mr. David Cheong, Chief Executive Officer of GMTB, unveiled the Company’s 100-year vision. He shared GMTB’s aspiration that 100 years from now, every family in Malaysia will have at least one trust in place, not merely as a financial tool, but as a foundation for protection, continuity, and generational stewardship. He emphasised that while the impact of this vision may not be fully seen in our lifetime, the decision to begin must be made today. Following this, Dr. CK Lee, CEO and President of GreenPro Capital Corp., highlighted that GMTB is built on a strong foundation of more than a combined 100 years of international experience and expertise. Drawing from established trust operations and global best practices, he reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to bringing international standards and disciplined governance into Malaysia’s trust ecosystem. Concluding the sharing, Mr. Shawn Tai, Chief Development Officer of GMTB, emphasised that while the community does not lack wealth, it often lacks awareness and understanding of how trust structures can be used effectively for protection, continuity, and legacy planning. He underscored GMTB’s commitment to closing this knowledge gap through responsible trusteeship, education, and long-term engagement with families and businesses.
